About SiFly
Founded by Alexander Bachevc, a professional athlete in the Olympic sailing division Formula Kite, SiFly was born not only from organic talent and passion, but also from the physical and technical experience brought by their founder's Physics degree from the Technical university of Munich. Like many eFoil brands, SiFly was an answer to a question posed by its founder, which in this case was whether a user friendly and affordable hydrofoil would ever be able to serve the thrill and freedom he felt to an everyday rider. With their unique strategy of keeping nearly 100% of their manufacturing in house, the answer to this question became a resounding yes after refined development of their software, hardware, and more delivered a high quality eFoil at a remarkably low price.
Despite the uniquely low price, the software that their boards are equipped with resemble a computer rather than a surf board. Offering WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and an LTE Modem, this connectivity allows for one of a kind data collection, performance metrics, and virtual intervention if necessary. Additionally, their unique software offering can be utilized as theft protection and eventually as an SOS functionality.
